Creating astrophotos is both harder and easier than you think. Getting good results is simply a matter of practice. Getting great results is another story.
I can't think of many hobbies that I would enjoy more than this one. There's something very rewarding about capturing images like these for yourself. Who would think they could capture images of the planets from their own back yard ? I'm often surprised at what shows up in these digital photos.
